  • Re: Are you a hosting company?

Thanks for the info Karen.   I do host DNN portals, but that is not my main business. The DNN portals are part of a much larger suite of services - I won't host a portal for you if you aren't purchasng the other services too. I also host a non-commercial site out of my own pocket (that site will actually make the most use of CE, since it ...

  • Re: Few Questions

I am running DotNetNuke 3.1 and I have the latest version as of 7/11/05 for DNN 3.1.  It works well, but I am getting some horrible issues when trying to use bulleted lists.  I have traced it to the issue of the break element.  If you go into a current block of text, whether it is free or in a div, regardless of whether or not you ...

  • Re: Help getting started

Adam -- I looked at this with one of our tech guys, and he said it appeared that we needed an Access database, which I hadn't seen mentioned in any of our pre-purchase discussions or documentation. Do we have to use Access to use CuteEditor, or can you provide a sample where it reads a file into the editor and then updates that file after ...

  • Re: "Uploads" path information

Hello Adam, I am the system admin for where HalRau is trying to use the ''uploader'' portion of CuteEditor for ASP v2.0. You said that the virtual path will work. In my testing and trying to get it to work with a virtual folder, it will not. The code uses the file system object and it tried to open a actual physical folder named ...

  • Re: Additional PHP MySQL Data Processing of Uploaded Files

Hi PaulARLowe,   If the code use in a <from> and do a post back to submit the data, then you need to generate the attachment table by some code.    Please refer to example page "ajax-attachments.php", it shows you how to generate the attachment table.   Regards,   Ken

  • Re: Can't find CuteEditor DLL for Framework 4.0

Use the files in the 2.0 folder, I had the same question and tried that and it works... NOTE: I have found one /NET 4.0 issue calling spell check, and have posted that question in this forum too... Other than that things are looking pretty good. (Current build is an IE 9 requirement too, I have found)

  • Inconsistent Behaviour between toolbar and keyboard shortcuts ASP.NET 1.1

When you type bold text then turn it off using the toolbar rather than CTRL/B, previous text is also reset. This is not happening here but it does happen when I enter text into the ASP.NET 1.1 version of CuteEditor. Is this a known bug? If I use keyboard shortcuts I don't have the problem.
