I removed all the external links in the shared config file as directed in the post you sent me.  I can now access the drop down lists, but everything else is still disabled.   Any other suggestion?

Almost there.... It turns out that there was nothing wrong with the path at all. I had SSL turned on for the Admin subdirectory.  Once I removed the SSL all was well.  Does the cute editor support SSL? Regards Charles Horan
