• Re: DNN ssl module causing editor to be disable

Sooo... I've been working on this for a while... I'm using DNN Professional 5.02.02 and changed the ADMIN > Site Settings > SSL Settings SSL is Enabled SSL is enforced and I set the SSL URL and the Standard URL... When I mark our registration page as Secure, things seem to work fine in most major browsers. In IE (version 8 ...

  • Re: Image browser working over SSL

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. When using the editor over SSL (which has a very different path to the main domain, (nb license is not domain specific), I get the following error: Warning: opendir(/usr/local/apache/htdocs/content) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory ...

  • Re: DNN ssl module causing editor to be disable

Thank you for the responses. Interestingly, when I set the admin for the site to expect to use SSL and then mark the registration page as SSL secured, that page gives me a mixed content message and Fiddler tells me that the offending players are the Cute Editor Template. If I remove the DNN forced SSL from the site, I can navigate to ...

  • SSL support

I installed Cute Live Support and all went fine. I wonder if it can be run through a SSL (secure web site). I saw another posting about SSL. I think the chat icon can be displayed on SSL page but I'm not sure if the comminication between the guest and operator can be secured? I will use this for a medical office. Thanks in advance.

  • Re: SSL Issues

I didn't see why that would help my situation...I am using the asp version, but regardless... editor.FilesPath = ''/CuteEditor'' THis is what I have to point to the filepath folder...Now this folder is a virtual directory within the site. WHat I don't understand is why the security alert keeps ...

  • Re: CuteEditor ASP 4.2 and SSL

Hi, Thanks for the reply. This is the bit that has got me slightly confused. There aren't any http:// links that I can see or find during a search. It's during the pulling in of the content it's going wrong, but the content is simply the word ''test''. I've used the .net version in the past and have had no ...

  • Re: SSL Support

Yes, it will work on SSL. 1. Open the following file: CuteSoft_Client/CuteEditor/Configuration/Shared/Common.config 2. Remove all the example code which points to CuteSoft site. For example, remove this:
CuteSoft
