dirname is faulty
I'm having difficulty using this script because of the multiple instances where it looks at dirname to determine the path of the scripts. Unfortunately this isn't a usable path. I tried to find all of the instances where it called dirname but I seem to have screwed up something. I'm happy to start from scratch if there's a workaround, but ...
