Hi, We're getting there, FF now behaves, but still getting the ability to paste Word formatted text in through Safari on PC (4). Once this is fixed, it will be perfect. Thanks Alan

Hi, Agree the 'diasbled' functionality now works perfectly - thanks for that. However my ideal solution is that I can get CTRL-V to only allow pure text (i.e. no formatting) to be pasted in. At the moment, FF brings in formatting, as does Safari. Any chance we can get the same functionality of 'paste text- that happens in IE, ...

Firefox 3.6. Tried it with your example onpaste. Get a JS error box come up with Error, cmdname not defined, then it pastes it in anyway.. Happens in Chrome too. OK in IE/Safari

Hi, Sorry this solution doesn't work - just tried with your example on the site, copied some formatted text, then CTRL V with 'disabled' set, and it still allowed it to be pasted. If I can't sort out the stripping of format on keyboard shortcut, and the 'pasting' text coming in through firefox, I'll still need to disable the keyboard ...

thanks for the tips, ideally I would still like CTRL V to work for plain text pasting in all browsers, so will be keen to see how to do it. Out of interest, is there a list of keyboard shortcuts for the control anywhere, just so I can see what does what?

Is it possible to set the hyperlink path to be the site root (so users can find any page to link to) - but then restrict the document popup for uploading documents (and browsing documents) to another location, such as /documents/ ?
Seems the one config setting controls both. If there is a way of even hard coding a way ...
