I got it to work.  Something was preventing the CuteEditor from Initializing. I upgraded to IE8 yesterday (because a lot of my clients are now using it...) and some of the IE7 toolbars wouldn't work, etc.  My guess is that an old toolbar caused some sort of malfunction in the IE8 event pipeline.  If this issue pops up with ...

Edward,   If you upgrade CE from the earlier version to the 5.0, please clear your browser cache and try again.The old CE style sheet in your browser may cause the problems.Keep me posted.

One (actually preferred) solution to this problem would be if the floating toolbars could all be positioned at the same location OUTSIDE of the scrolling region.  Is this doable, and if so, would you provide example code?  This would effectively provide a ''shared toolbar'' experience for the end user. Thanks again!

Using CuteEditor.NET 6.3 This is very frustrating as it is my clients who point this out. Major issue is the complete failure to show icons as well as the text for editing. Any suggestions what may be the issue? Should I implement some type of caching to improve functioning?
