  • Master pages & modal dialogs

Got a problem with modal dialogs/master pages. Can see that this forum has the same problem - when CuteEditor is not embeded into a master page, popup dialogs are all modal (which is expected behaviour). However, it is not so when I use master pages.   You may see it here - click 'insert link' button to ensure and compare behaviour to ...

I copied the license to the site's BIN folder, exactly as instructed. Today the site is down with the message: ''The License for Editor is not valid. You are using a trial license and the trial period has expired.'' I have reviewed all of the installation instructions again - carefully - and deleted then re-copied the lic. file to ...

  • Re: Custom config file name generates Failed to Load Menus and how to change "css class" to custom text.

Sorry for the mis-leading. V6 has some changes and the way mentioned in my last post is for v5 :)   In v6, this name is saved in language file \CuteSoft_Client\CuteEditor\Languages. If your culture is set to English, then en-us. If not set, it's default.xml. In the language file, search for ''CSS Class'', change the definition ...

  • What key combination to use to exit the editor?

We can tab around a form and tab into CuteEditor but cannot tab out.   Since tabbing is standards-based in browsers, what key combination can be used to tab out of the editor once a user is in? Typically, if the Tab key is being used internally in a control, then Ctrl/Tab or Shift/Tab is used.   What key combination can we use?
