orenlevy,   Do you have problems with all modules or just one particular module? Which version of Cute Editor are you using?   If you upgrade from an old version to version 6.0, please delete all the old client files and dlls first.    

noooooo...can't upgrade again. Have made alot of alterations to this otherwise exellent product.Can't go through upgrading all the sites I've built again. apeckens, Which version of CuteEditor is running on the site your acquired? Do you mean you lost the old license file? If you are not ready to upgrade to 4.0 right now, you can just use the early version of dll, the license file for the early version. It should works.
