I edited the album.config file and could then run default.asp without an error. It now doesn't know about the category1 album I created previously.

1)When I delete the version3.0 dll, and replace with dll version 6.0, then recompile the project, but some errors accured which like below:

Hi Adam,
I have checked the value in our database and it is indeed ASCII encoded which is a good sign.
When we load a value from the DB we perform a HTML Decode on it, but this shouldn't convert the ASCII text over I wouldn't have thought. I will have to drill down on this further now.

This turned out to be a missing Me.Controls.Add(CuteEdit), so Cute Editor now displays OK initially in the Web Part thanks.
