  • CuteEditor image editing when uploaded files are stored in a database

The image editor is not working when image files are stored in a database. The code seems to expect that files are stored in filesystem. Is this configurable? I get a ''.. not a valid virtual path'' error. See below. (I am not sure if the inserted image below is visible but it seems the error occurs in line 25 imageditor.aspx)

  • Re: Add a caption to an image

jfarr,     That's not the caption of the image.    You can put the image/image description into a box (div)  then use style builder, change the float style of the div to left or right. For example:   This is a description     Cute Editor for ASP.NET is the most powerful WYSIWYG ...

My web application tages page content out of a MS SQL database and displays it in the editor for editing. However the editor is replacing certain characters in the content with #[number]: < replaced ...

John, 1) I want to give my paying customers (business owners) the chance to create and upload customized information about their business and to upload a business logo image. To handle this, instead of incorporating a textarea or textbox as part of my web form, after gathering basic business info using textboxes, I create a seperate web form page ...

  • Select an image outside of Cute Editor?

Hi, I'm creating a CMS for a website and I need to give users the ability to enter info related to articles that they wish to post to the site. Among the fields are Date, Title, Body and Thumbnail Image. The Date and Title I take care of with regular text input boxes, the Body is sorted with Cute Editor, however, the Thumbnail Image ...

  • Re: Image editor not showing images

Hi Adam, Upon the revival of this thread, I realized that I never did resolve this issue either.  I got pulled on to other projects.  All I ended up doing to keep it from happening was to disable the image editor.   However, I went back to one of my test projects that still had it enabled and managed to recreate the ...

  • Cute Editor as an Image Uploader

Hey guys,   Is there an easy way to integrate Cute Editor as just an image uploader? I am using Version 6, and what I would like to do is have users click on ''Upload Logo'', which brings up a dialog from Cute Editor to pick the file, upload and auto-resize, and then do something in HTML:Javascript.   By the same token, I would ...
