I'm having the same problem (Version 5.3.0). Judging from the posts I've read this has been an ongoing problem for a long time now. I've reduced the toolbar down to a single Bold function and it still takes 60-120 seconds to load or just hangs the page until I refresh it - but only the first time.   There must be some way of preloading it.

Hi,   In ashx , you can throw an exception , the browser javascript will show alert for that message.   If you validate the file in controller action , you can do more logic for the UI.   Regards, Terry

Dear eliasjo,   You cannot drag image to CuteEditor, you need click ''Insert Image'' and then upload image. After image is uploaded, you can insert it to CuteEditor editor area.   Thanks for asking Eric@cutesoft.net

Dear RaceProUK,   I tested this example on WinXP, my browser version is opera 10.51, it works fine and cannot reproduce this issue.  If you click ''IFrame'',''Flash'',or ''Silverlight'', does it work?   Regards, Eric

David,   Did you get such error again ?   that code call Windows kernal API with the username/password and it return failed code , we currently have no idea to improve this kind random issue.   Regards, Terry
