  • Re: Change image gallery path by user

OK, figured it out. Not sure, but the documentation seems to be a little misleading, it lists the following:Editor1.SetSecurityImageGalleryPath= ''~/uploads''; but here is how I got it to work: protected void FormView1_PreRender(object sender, EventArgs ...

  • Re: User feedback: real suitability for live help

Sadly, now decided to buy an alternative product for my site network.  If we are to use a product commercially, one of the key factors that flag problems ahead is pre-purchase support. In testing the evaluation version, we came across quite a few issues.  Given the lack of feedback here, I instructed my Techincal Manager not to bother ...

  • Re: Insert images will lock out the user and produce an error

Hi Adam, no, it's not possible that I use the old winIE.js on the server because i removed the whole CEProvider folder and all binaries and unzipped the nukeedit3.1.zip package to the server again. The browser cache had been cleared also. To your last post: It is not a problem with sub-portals... it is a problem with subfolders ...

  • Re: Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE'

Rgain,   When you use ASP.NET, the default security context is the aspnet_wp account (or NetworkService account, for an application that runs on IIS 6.0) for both Aspnet_wp.exe (or W3wp.exe, for an application that runs on IIS 6.0) and the request to SQL Server.   By default, the aspnet_wp account (or NetworkService account, for an ...

  • Re: how to validate user-generated html is well-formed?

pw007: I'm not talking about validating to w3 specs. I just want to ensure that the html that the user creates is 'well-formed' so that it doesn't screw up my 'host' page when it is displayed, because of missing closing tags, etc..   Does anyone have any method to achieve this? Even an imperfect solution will be welcome (and better than ...

  • Multi-User Editing

Does CuteEditor support multi-user editing? For example, when I use DotNetNuke, I frequently run across the problem where a user is performing an edit and another user also goes and edit the same document. I would like to set the document to be read-only while somebody is already editing the document?

  • Re: dynamically assign user gallery path in dotnetnuke

    >>How difficult would that be for someone who is relatively new to asp.net development?    It should be easy. You need to know how to recompile the provider project first.   Step 1: Open Providers\HtmlEditorProviders\CEHtmlEditorProvider\CEHtmlEditorProvider.vb   Step 2: Change the following ...
