so it seems this just doesn't work with intranet sites (e.g., integrated windows authentication) hosted on W2K3   the iframe mode ends up loading the file into server memory, which won't work for very large files   if you can figure out another solution, let us know

Update...   worked like magic, used demo2 as the basis as I wanted to manipulate the files on receipt. made sure I had a separate name for each instance and all pointed to teh same upload receiver with varying query strings...   Great script saved me many hours...   Cheers         John B

I do this using CodeCharge and something called ''HTMLarea''.   I was hoping to replace HTML area with CUTE (cos it's much more advanced), but it doesn't work with the image bank system which my client uses to upload images etc. independant to the page make element.     HTH...Tony
