If you want to load the content into the editor, please use the Editor.LoadHtml Method.Editor.LoadHtml Method - Loads the contents of a HTML file into the CuteEditor control. Example: Editor1.LoadHtml(''document.htm'');

check your gallery property:
Gallery.SlideShowDelay Property This property is used to set or get the interval (in milliseconds) between the display of two images. Default is 4000.
Also make sure you upgrade to the version 1.2.1 when you get time.

1. Hitting backspace seems to remove HTML chars rather than 'design mode' chars. (producing <br> at the end of the document for instance.
