Our ASP.NET web application makes extensive use of Web User Controls and we are having a problem with Cute Editor (4.0.0.7) in this scenario. Specifically, on postback, we are not receiving any changes that were made to the text within the Cute Editor control - the text remains unchanged from its initial state.

There is no problem using the control from an .ASPX page, just when using it from an .ASCX page. Are there any known issues with this scenario?

We are using Dotnet Framework 1.1 and Visual Studio.NET 2003 for development.

The problem has been resolved and had nothing to do with the CuteEditor control. Rather, there is a dotnet "quirk" with any dynamically created user control in that the posted back data is not available in the Page_Load() event. It is available, however, further downstream, in the button click event that generated the post.
