    IP Address on the move...

Well guys, you have created two license files for me...

one for the IP address provided by my hosting company (PureHost), which didn't work, so I guess they misunderstood my request and provided the wrong IP address

one for the IP address returned by the test.aspx file Adam sent me, which worked great for a day.

It's a new day and the License is again invalid....not your fault.  It seems the test.aspx file is returning yet another IP address today 10.4.6.121.  Don't need another license until I understand how to handle what appears to be a random IP address being assigned to my webroot....unless you have some ideas.

I've got a ticket opened to PureHost.com asking if I can have a static IP address for my webroot, so a license file will last more than a day.

Question, have you ever run into this type of issue before?

    Thanks,
    Scott

Well, I have my response from Purehost.com..

"Unfortunately, we don't provide static IP address. We use dynamic IP
    technique."

So, should I assume this is going to be a deal breaker since your licenses seem to be IP specific?

Re: IP Address on the move...

Heard back from Purehost again, and they feel my original (base) IP address should work for ASP.NET applications.  Is there a file somewhere I can configure to tell the Gallery app. to key off that site IP?  I already have a license for that IP address, but it doesn't work in the normal location ../webroot/licenses/...

BTW, the test.aspx file seems to return a different result depending on where I'm accessing the site... Home, work, etc.

Give it a try from your location: scubashots.net/test.aspx

    Thanks,

OK... I'll take a lack of response as an affirmative that I'm just out of luck.
