Can't adjust editor width in DNN

Working with DNN 2.1.2 and cannot get the text editor to change it's width, even though I removed the toolbars. Is there a way to change the width so that the text editor is smaller??

Yes, please open the CEHtmlEditorProvider.vb file.

And change the following code:


        Public Overrides Property Width() As System.Web.UI.WebControls.Unit
            Get
                Width = CType(Me.HtmlEditorControl, CuteEditor.Editor).Width
            End Get
            Set(ByVal Value As System.Web.UI.WebControls.Unit)
                '            CType(Me.HtmlEditorControl, CuteEditor.Editor).Width = Value
            End Set
        End Property

To:


        Public Overrides Property Width() As System.Web.UI.WebControls.Unit
            Get
                Width = CType(Me.HtmlEditorControl, CuteEditor.Editor).Width
            End Get
            Set(ByVal Value As System.Web.UI.WebControls.Unit)
                CType(Me.HtmlEditorControl, CuteEditor.Editor).Width = Value
            End Set
        End Property

Then recompile your project.

The lates version that you pointed me to, and the download thatis available on your site only has the Private Assembly files available... not the source code.

Can you provide a link to the latest source files? (Also - do you have a doc online that outlines the best way to set up the project in Visual Studio?)

The file path is Providers/HtmlEditorProviders/CEHtmlEditorProvider/CEHtmlEditorProvider.vb.
