Thanks for the reply. Already i tried with the scissors icon.  I can click on it  but file deletion is not occuring. How to solve. Please help!!!!!

Please select the file by the checkbox, then click on the scissors button, you will get the confimr alert,click on ok will delete the file.

By the way, we have disable the delete function of the online demo, just in case you are testing on the online demo.

Thank you so much for the reply. But my problem is the confirmation box is not populating & i think it is disabled in our application. How to 'enable'  the delete functionality ?

Hi,

Please open the configuration file "\CuteSoft_Client\CuteEditor\Configuration\Security\Default.config", it has a setting to enable/disable the delete function. Ensure that you have not set it to false.

      <security name="AllowDelete">true</security>

Yes , i have checked , but the settings was  correct as above mentioned. Below  is the Default.config file in the mentioned path.

 <security name="AllowModify">true</security>  

    <security name="AllowRename">true</security>   

   <security name="AllowDelete">true</security>      <security name="AllowCopy">true</security>      <security name="AllowMove">true</security> <!-- this is rename too -->      <security name="AllowCreateFolder">true</security>      <security name="AllowDeleteFolder">true</security> 

Then any aother settings OR changes ?????

Hello Ken,

Please ignore the previous thread.  In my ASPX page, the setting was   "SecurityPolicyFile="security_webeditor.config"  . But i changed to Default .config. So it worked. Thank you so muck for the support.
