There is an option to show the images list (I mean at insert image option- CuteSoft_Client\CuteEditor\Dialogs\InsertImage.aspx -page) 

sorted by date desc. - from newest image to ldest image?

For now does not support to sort by date in the insert image dialog. sorry for your inconvenience.

We have a new version Rich TextEditor, it support to sort by date/name/szie, you can try on http://richtexteditor.com/demo/
