    Problem with DNN login module...

I am posting to all DNN forums I can find.  - I've tried all I can think of and am out of ideas.

The DNN Login Module allows one to set the permissions for module access... well now, a couple days later, I realize the problem with that, I set it to "Authorized Users" now no-one can login.

There should be a safeguard on the Login module for DNN beginners like me, that module must stay on "All Users".  The system can't know who you are until you login.

Can anyone offer a solution to getting my login module to show-up again... I get the login page just no fields to sign-in on.

    Dear puternut1,
Please sign as adminitrator, and then edit the "Account Login" module. Please click "Settings", and then edit the user permissions, you will can set which users it will be visible to.

Re: Problem with DNN login module...

Thanks Eric, but how do I sign in?

The site does not know who I am until I sign-in and since the module has been set to administrators only, the module will not show on the page for me to sign in. (something DNN should fix on their next release by taking away the permissions options)

I can't believe no one knows how to fix this. - With no pages to edit like I am use to, I am kind of lost.  At this point my best guess would be to change a setting in a data-storage file, but where is it?

I would like to avoid uninstalling and re-installing DNN since it took me a couple weeks of reinstalling till it finally installed properly... I'm

afraid I might not get it to install again if I un-install it.

    Dear puternut1,

You can let website administrator  change the module permission and grant "View Module" permission to "All users".

Table "ModulePermission" controls the module permission.
