Filter out images based on their name when the Image Gallery loads

I am looking for a way to filter out images based on their name when a user selects the Image Gallery. I was pointed towards the filenamePattern security setting, however, changes to that don't seem to affect the files in the Image Gallery when its loading. Is there a way to accomplish this?

You have two options.

1. Set ImageGalleryPath based on user's role or name

The problem I have is that what I want to filter is in the middle of the file name, something like __Gallery or __Icon etc.

I can't filter by users because all users share a pool of images.

Any other ideas on how to achieve this?

You cannnot filter the files in the middle of the file name. You can only filter the files using prefix. This logic is hard coded in the c# files. If you do need this feature, you can request a customized build or get the source code so you can modify it by yourself.

If we were to request a customized build, does that cost extra and what is the turn around time for that?

Yes, it does cost extra and we can delivery it in 24 hours.
