How to validate the image uploaded in Ajax Uploader?

Hi,

How to validate an image using Ajax Uploader?

If a rename a ".txt" file to ".jpg" fileand upload using Ajax Multiple upload it gets added and when we click on that it throws server error.

I want to validate and show an error message when the user clicks upload.

Please help me out in this.

Jagan,

Ajax Uploader can help you validate the files in the client side.

If the files extension is changed, you need to validate the files in the server side.

Jagan ,

At server side, you can use

System.Drawing.Image.FromFile/FromStream to load the image.

If it throws exception , that means it's not a image file.

Hi,

when I was using normal upload I used this validation

System.Drawing.Image Img = System.Drawing.Image.FromStream(fupload.PostedFile.InputStream)

"fupload" is the normal ASP file upload. when I am using the CuteWeb UI name I am not getting this "PostedFile.InputStream"

What Should I use there?
