We have just bought the cute chat product and I am getting the following error while we are testing it.

This seems like a SQLServer normalization error or a locking error. Can you please help?

The information that I can find is that the error occurs when you try to access a database table that is already locked by some other action.

 

Please note that Cute Chat doesn't use any transaction at all.

Found the error. It appears to be related to special characters in SQL 2008. Since everything else seemed fine, set up a separate test instance and replaced all non-standard characters with standard equivalents. Seems to be a simple issue of SQL trying to figure out the encoding and locking the record until it does (expected). Thanks anyway.
