RTF - Store in database

I've got RTF stored in an MS SQL Server database field.

I need to load this RTF from the database into Cute Editor, edit it, and then write it back to the database.

Is this possible?

I've tried various methods but the RTF gets corrupted when loaded into Cute Editor.
