I looked at some posts already about setting html progmatically but that did not seem to help.
When i do this

Editor1.text="Menu Location points to file <a href=" & ControlChars.Quote & menuFunc.getUrl(e.Item) & ControlChars.Quote & ">Click here to see file</a><br>"

when the page loads it becomes:"M#9nu L#5cati#5n p#5int#7 t#5 fil#9 #1a hr#9f="/F#8CW#9b#7it#9/fil#9#7/Addr#9#7#7 B#5#5k/W9 Pr#5c#9#7#7ing.d#5c"#2Click h#9r#9 t#5 #7#9#9 fil#9#1/a#2 #1br /#2"

any ideas?

Justin,

It's strange. Here are the two options:

1. Try turn EncodeHiddenValue off by setting this property to "false".

2. If your site online so you can provide a URL?

where might i find EncodeHiddenValue ?

2. no it is on our intranet no external access.

ps. did you recieve my email about our license file?

is what I have, makes no difference i still get the jumbled results. Also i sent another email about the license.

It's strange.

It would be really helpful if you could send us a sample aspx page which demonstrates the exact problem with more information.

after upgrading 4.0.0.5 to 4.0.0.6 this problem went away :)
