I'd like to be able to implement a gallery for each user.

 

So, somehow I would like to pass the userid of the logged in user to filter out only images in their gallery.  I would like to do this in DNN version 3.

 

Could anyone tell me if this is possible?

It's possible.

 

Please follow the steps below.

 

1. Get the UserID, for example, the current userID is "John_smith"

2. For John_smith, you want his gallery path is "~/upload/John_smith"

3. In your code, first you need to detect whether the path exists or not, if not, you need to create it dynamically.

4.  Now you can set gallery1.FolderPath = ""~/upload/John_smith".
