Dynamic Form Builder

Adam,

I am planing to use CuteEditor (.net version) as a dynamic forms builder. I noticed that someone else had trouble (Larskohsel from Denmark).

Here is sample HTML created from CuteEditor

</div>

I have used simialr code to Larskohsel and cannot see the form fields. Can you supply code as code snip or show me what is wrong with the HTML

Viz_steve,

Larskohsel isn't using the latest version 4.0.0.4. He downloaded the version 4.0.0.4 yesterday. He will let us know the result soon.

Can you explain what's wrong with your code??

Hi Adam,

As the form builder is a really neat feature and you could highly promote of your site - could you add a sample to show correct use of inspecting the form elemets that are added to the editor

Adam,

Is there any chance you could provide some support now ? - I need to know whether to purchase your product or not ?

After dragging form controls on to the editor such as radioBox1checkBox1

I want to check and save the values - but I cannot seem to inspect the controls collection

You can't get the values because the editing content is in an IFRAME . the content of IFRAME would not post to the page that contains the CuteEditor.

so you could just get the Editor1.Text which maybe is "<input name=yourfield value=thevalue> ... "

You could use the Editor1.XHTML to retire the XML string , and parse it into XmlDocument , and get the value as you want .

You could try this:

insert a form , insert a textbox , insert a submit button , and then turn to Preview mode , and then click the submit button .

You would see what the form posted . The url show the file handles the Request.Forms .
