Can you help me?

 

I see a lot of fixed things in V6, but not a lot of new features.

 

There are a couple of critical needs not being fulfilled: rulers, Word .DOC support and collaboration.

 

To be a realistic tool for office document editing (i.e. word processing), CE should provide ruler functionality both globally and on a row-by-row basis. That kind of formatting is pretty much a standard requirement.

 

Reading and writing from/to Microsoft Word .DOC is a basic requirement for virtually all editors.

 

Collaboration is almost a defacto standard now and I would have liked to see that functionality in CE, along with versioning.

 

Can you give me some idea of when these features might be available?

Can I get an answer on these issues, please?

 

We need rulers. .DOC support AND collaboration to compete with other vendors.

 

These functions are outstanding for a long, long time now and should have been addressed in a Major release like 6.0.

 

When will they be implemented?
