Hello,

 

I cannot find any documentation which can help me create a custom dialog box which will retun pre-formatted text or event user entered text back to the editor at the exact spot that the cursor was when the user selected my custom button.

 

Can someone point me in the right direction?

I have tried it and am now encountering a javascript error "obj_editor1" is undefined

Your editor ID is inputFieldName instead of obj_Editor1.
