Developer Team License or Enterprise License?

    Hi all,

I'm not sure which license we need: We are 3 Developers ( = Team License). All our applications will stay on our company servers but they are located in different countries so we are not developing for external companies. But users might be both internal (employees) and external (Customers).

So do we need the developer team or the enterprise license?

Developer licenses apply to software components, control or class libraries that are integrated by developers into their applications. All developer products have royalty free runtimes. This means that you may freely distribute the product with your application.

An enterprise License allows use of the Software on Unlimited servers and applications within a single organization. The Enterprise License includes Royalty FREE distribution rights.

What rights are not covered by the developer license?  Freely distributing the product does not seem to have any restriction but there must be a reason for the enterprise license ;-)

Re: Difference between Developer Team License and Enterprise License

Thanks Karen. I wasn't aware that the enterprise edition is for unlimited developers. I guess an upgrade later on from Dev team to Enterprise would be possible?
