Full screen mode loosing toolbar buttons and normal html buttons

When users switch to full screen mode if the page is long we have noticed that the toolbar buttons scroll away. We cannot get back to them, also we noticed the bottom html, normal buttons are not there. Finally we noticed the scrollbar used for scrolling is the browser scrollbar and not the editors. (IE6)

I noticed in your demo all works fine!

Does the above make sense, has it happened before?

Whats the fix?

I am guessing there is something in our HTML that is causing this. Have you any hints where to look before we post the HTML?

Our example is running version 5.3.

Which version of Cute Editor for .NET are you using?

Its the latest 5.3 we only started using it about 3 months ago.

Do you have problems running the examples included in the download package?

The examples work fine.

I am assuming it is something we have done, but was hoping you might be able to give some pointers about where to look.

Otherwise its back to square one by creating a new page and slowly bringing in our code, your editor and modifying configs etc to determine where it breaks.

Ho hum, will let you know how we get on but in the meantime if you have any pointers we would be grateful.

Tracked down the problem. It was the doctype thingy

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

If we have this at the top of the HTML then the full screen mode seems to think the browser window is bigger than it actually is.

The obvious solution is not to have this, but our web designers are not happy. They mentioned something about accessability and the more immediate problem when its removed is that all the styles go to pot.

Does version 6 fix this bug?

Is version 6 still appearing at the end of the month?
