How I can disable properties windows?

How I can disable properties windows?

Example: When client double click at image, cuteeditor will open a pop up window to change the image color, border and etc..

How I can prevent user from open the properties in mouse double click?

Open the CuteEditorWeb\CuteSoft_Client\CuteEditor\Dialogs\tag.config.

To turn off the image properties tab, remove this line:
<add pattern="IMG" tab="IMG" text="[[Image]]" control="Tag_Image.ascx" />

To turn off the general tab, remove this line:
<add pattern="*" tab="Common" text="[[Common]]" control="Tag_Common.ascx" />

To turn off the style builder tab, remove this line:
<add pattern="*" tab="Style" text="[[StyleBuilder]]" control="Tag_Style.ascx" />

Yes. The above setting is can prevent the user to modify theimage properties.

But the properties windows still will pop up. Is it possible to prevent the properties windows open?

This feature is by design. We don't have setting to disable this.

This issue has been resolved in the version 5.3.

Download:

To disable the properites dialog, please open the CuteEditorconstants.js file and modify the following code:

// By default, when users double click a control, a tag property dialog will open. Set it to true if you want to disable this feature.
var DisableDoubleClickEvent = false;

to:

// By default, when users double click a control, a tag property dialog will open. Set it to true if you want to disable this feature.
var DisableDoubleClickEvent = true;
