Hi Adam,

We have following issues with Cute Editor. Can you please keep us updated on the status of following defects?

1. Bold, Italic and Underlying icon in menu is not changing based on changes done through key board shortcuts. This defect is not fixed in latest versions (5.2 and 5.3) of Cute editor.

2. Type some text in Cute Editor. Use 'Cut' menu to cut the text and then press ctrl + V to paste the 'Cut' text. Pasting will not happen. This issue is related to usability. After doing a operation in Cute Editor menu, we need to focus back on the Text Area and use ctrl + V. Then only copying of content to Text Area will happen. This defect is not fixed in latest versions (5.2 and 5.3) of Cute editor.

3. But, due to the limitation of HTML tags, applying and revoking of color may not be same as word. We will have some limitation in that aspect. For example, "Test Text For Color" text can be colored for each letter independently in word. Same can be done in cute editor. But when we do coloring for some of the characters in the sentence, same behavior as in word cannot be observed. Please try the following flow in Cute Editor and you can visually see the issue.

1. Change color for "t For C" to red. 5 letters will become red

2. Change color for "Text F" to green. 5 letters will become green. But red letter color will be lost.

3. Change color for "xt" to red. 2 letters will become Red.

4. Change color for "ex" to rose. 2 letters will become Rose. But other text will lose color information.

5. Type a sentence and after reaching end of sentence click on the font color to change to red. All the text typed till that point will change to red.
