Firefox 1.0.7 editor.Text bug

When preloading html with editor.Text in FireFox V1.0.7 with something like:

You get a glimpse of the content then it vanishes and you can't use the 'normal' or 'html' tabs. Javascript console reads:

Error: headHTML is not defined
Source File: https://domain/CuteEditor_Files/Gecko.js.asp?UC=en-en
Line: 5

Removing the head tag with all it's contents is a workaround solution which is fine in our case as we use Cute Ed for email composition.

Is there a better solution available?

Lachie,

Have you set Editor.EditCompleteDocument Property to true? Which version of CuteEditor are you using?

http://cutesoft.net/asp/EnableAll.asp This example is using the version 5.1.

Editor.EditCompleteDocument Property

Specify whether a complete HTML document is being edited.

Example Code

      <%
           Dim editor
           Set editor = New CuteEditor
           editor.ID = "Editor1"
           'SSpecify whether a complete HTML document is being edited.
           editor.EditCompleteDocument = true
           editor.Text = "Hello World"
           editor.Draw()
      %>

Remarks

If false, the editor will only process content inside the page body i.e. all content inside of the <body>...</body> tags of a page. If true, the editor will process content outside the page body and preserve header tags (e.g. <head>...</head>, <title>...</title>, etc.).

Lachie,

Cute Editor for ASP 5.1 has been tested on Firefox version 1.0--1.5. Version 1.0.7 is included.

Is that possible for you to download the software again and create a new virtual directory for testing?
