How does CuteChat retrieve usernames when users enter the chatroom? We are trying to autogenerate usernames for anon users when they enter (Guest1, Guest2 etc) but so far, even when the implementation actually updates the cutechat database the UI still displays the same name for all users.

This also applies to another function we're attempting to implement; we want registered DNN users to be able to select an alias for the chatroom before entering. We are able to make this alias appear in the Chat_Active_online table, but the UI still displays the username used the first time the user entered the chat application.

The only way we've found so far to refresh the chat applications view of usernames is to reset the webserver.

Anyone got information on how the chat actually retrieves the DisplayName for the userlist in the chatroom?
