But I tested with Internet Explorer 7 and got the following error:

I have encountered the similar quesitons.My image editor can not work with windows 8.

Is there any other image program which supports to edit image in windows 8?

Is the OS of your server windows vista x64?

I can reproduce the issue on this OS, it seems caused by GDI+ of Vista x64, and it works fine in win7, server 2008R2.
