    Re: android

    I tried it

after 10 mins I still couldn't figure out how to use it

the layout is totally different from the web version

every time you want to edit something, you have to click on the button at the right side. It's also difficult to get the key pad

    short answer, it's not practical

    Re: android

    Hi,

    It's by design.

If you try the right toolbar and understand it ,

I think that is a easy way for mobile .

We will think about how to provide instruction for the beginner users.

    Regards,

    Terry

    Hi,

We will add a new 'keyboard' icon button to the main toolbar ,

And also change the side toolbar type-text button icon to 'keyboard'

    Regards,
    Terry

    Re: android

    By the way ,

The mobile version is just in beta .

We will show more options when user click the body , and then  determine whether want to type something and then show the keyboard.

It's  primary for PHONE too, we plan to add a new layout for PAD while PAD have larger screen .

    Regards,

    Terry

    Re: android

I think user might want to keep it same

users are lazy. they don't want to learn something new unlese it's incrediblly easy and simple

    Re: android

We did try the same ,

But the phone screen is too small , and it's not possible to control the phone-keyboard show/hide

When scale the screen , the toolbar often disapeared too.

The new design is not good enough now, but we will keeping improve it .

For the PAD , we will create new layout which is more acceptable.

And then , we will provide new configuration/property to switch which UI you want to use .

    Regards,

    Terry

    Re: android

    Hi,

By the way , the new design also work for iOS4 too .

People can use RTE without upgrading to iOS5 .

I think RTE will be the only one .

    Terry
