Re: new version?

    Hi,

    Wehave fixed other issues and will update it soon.

    I can't reproduce the paste issue.

    Because browser don't allow script to access the clipboard , so we can't do the paste job directly.

    If you don't like the paste button , you can modify the /richtexteditor/scripts/config.js , remove the striked text in line 181

                 "ribbon":"<@COMMON,ribbonpaste,pastetext,pasteword,{save,new,print,spellcheck}{cut,copy,delete,find}{undo,redo|formatpainter}><@FORMAT,[fontname,fontsize]{bold,italic,underlinemenu|forecolor,backcolor}{superscript,subscript,changecase|removeformat,cleancode,selectall}><@PARAGRAPHS,[paragraphs,styles]{justifymenu,lineheight,ltr,rtl,insertlinemenu}{insertorderedlist,insertunorderedlist,outdent,indent,insertblockquote}><@INSERT,ribbontable,insertgallery,insertimage,{insertform,insertbox,insertlayer,insertfieldset,fullscreen,toggleborder,pageproperties,help}{insertlink,unlink,insertanchor,insertimagemap,insertdate,insertchars,virtualkeyboard}{inserttemplate,insertdocument,insertvideo,syntaxhighlighter,insertyoutube,html5,googlemap}>",

    I also was unable to reproduce the 'quotation mark' issue too. Could you tell me the details,

    Thanks for your testing .
    Regards,
    Terry

    Re: new version?

    thx Terry,

    I also was unable to reproduce the 'quotation mark' issue too. Could you tell me the details,

    Please see below I highted in the screen shot. Any reserved html char will cause the problem

    Because browser don't allow script to access the clipboard , so we can't do the paste job directly.

    If I swith to "source" view, I can use ctrl+v directly, so I assume that is not browser restriction. the ctrl+v function always works in the old version. I hope you can keep this feature.

    Re: new version?

    wolf11th:

    - ctrl+v doesn' work in editor (not by paste button)

    - when I try to edit my post, the quotation mark will be transferred to html and dispaly

    - delete key (from key pad) deosn't work if set maxtextlength http://www.richtexteditor.com/demo/maxlength.aspx?m=text

    - i dont like the paste button, every time it pops up a window which ask you to ctrl+v paste the thing. Is there any way to populate the data to editor by a single-click of the past button?

    thx

    The above issue are fixed. Thansk for pointing it out. Please download the latest build.

    thx

    1. that has not been fixed. I use IE9 and windows7. Also as I pointed out perviously, it's not a browser restriction. I can use ctrl+v in the old editor and can ctrl+v with HMTL view in the new editor. Please try it on you end. As the IE is the default web browser that pre-installed by ms, there will be a lot of users keep using it, pls have another look at this issue.

    2. this still doesn't work. what you can do is post a message such as'aba', and then try to edit it you can see the quotation mark will be converted to '

          that means everytime when you edit the exsting data in the editor, all the reserved html tags can not be resolved.

    3. that works

    4. I will try your suggestion

    the editor is still very unstable. when I try to edit the font color and type, then I hit space, sometimes the whole word will be erased. and the cursor sometimes doesn't locate at the right place.

    All issues reported have been fixed except this pasting issue.

    Please download the latest build and try again.

    Are you using regular IE 9 or a special version?

    It works fine when we test using IE9.

    thx Adam,

    Please find above of my IE9 info

    we do have a security policy of the office LAN. But I'm not aware of anything special that will stop the use of ctrl+v. Especially I can do this in the old cuteeditor. I down grade my IE to version 8 and surprisely it works with ctrl+v.

    I had it tested with another machine which has IE9 too. no luck

    Your IE version is same as my IE .

    But I still can't reproduce that issue.

    Could you test the CTRL+B , CTRL+I , CTRL+U ?

    Or, could you click outside the editor and then press F12 to open the IE developer tools,

    to check whether some error throws when you use CTRL+V ?

    Thanks.

    Re: new version?

    Does the new version support custom file storage providers like version 6.6? (see this demo and source code for example)

    Does the new version support custom upload providers like version 6.6? (see this article and this article for example)

    I was able to configure custom providers in version 6.6 like so:

    1. myHtmlEditor.Setting["InsertTemplate-CuteEditorFileStorageType"] = typeof(TemplateFileStorage).AssemblyQualifiedName;
    2. myHtmlEditor.Setting["InsertImage-CuteEditorFileStorageType"] = typeof(BlobFileStorage).AssemblyQualifiedName;
    3. myHtmlEditor.Setting["SelectImage-CuteEditorFileStorageType"] = typeof(BlobFileStorage).AssemblyQualifiedName;
    4. myHtmlEditor.Setting["InsertDocument-CuteEditorFileStorageType"] = typeof(BlobFileStorage).AssemblyQualifiedName;
    5. myHtmlEditor.Setting["SelectFile-CuteEditorFileStorageType"] = typeof(BlobFileStorage).AssemblyQualifiedName;
    6.
    but I can't figure out how to do this in version 8.

    Re: new version?

    Research suggests hospitalised patients are over 100 times more likely to develop a VTE compared with the rest of the community, suggesting VTE prevention in hospitalised patients is a key aspect of improving patient safety.
    Whilst all surgical patients had a VTE screen completed prior to surgery, medical patients were not being screened. Despite no reports of VTE due to inadequate preventative methods, an audit identified a large % of medical patients as at high risk of developing a VTE. These results prompted the development of a risk screening tool and process for all admitted patients.

    "find" function doesn't work properly. try above text and search for "to" and doesn't give you all the correct results.

    thx
