I am sure this is on other peoples wish lists......

I was wondering what the score is with the editor?

Are we going to be able to add forms? or not?

I am getting pressure from users who wish to be able to add them?

Anyone else wish they could add forms?

Oh yes, I have asked this a couple of times and never really got a response. The biggest problem lies in that the editor has to exist between the form tags. So adding a form in the editor closes the form early thereby preventing submission. I have a major need for this functionality and the only way I think I can compensate is through the use of tokens. The form would be built and stored elswhere and would be replaced when the text is rendered outside of the editor. So something like <<LOGIN FORM>> would be replaced with the actual form. I think I might be able to use the Code Snippet box to provide the tokens. However, it would be great at some point if we can just drop a form in the editor.

Hi eastwood and lundrigan,

Yes, that make good sense. That's a feature that has been on our list for quite a long time, now it has risen up to be the top priority.

You will get form support in the next release.

has this ever been done????

I am also trying to add forms through the editor to a database but its just not working and i cant see any options to add form into the editor

would be grateful for a response

We will release the Cute Editor for .NET in the next week.

We are still working hard on the ASP version.

If it is faster to just allow forms to be cut and pasted in the ASP editor. I would be happy with that. Right now if you cut and paste the form in the editor it prevents the submit button from working.

As request, this feature has been added to the version 4.0.

Cute Editor 4.0 allows you to edit a full HTML page, including <title>, <!DOCTYPE...> and some other options. You can also insert Form elements (checkbox, button, textarea, etc.) and modify certain properties of the element.
