Is there any way that I can turn off html auto correction?

 

The problem is that we use the editor in our newsletter module in dnn.... our templates are created in XSLT with all css and inline styles when this is put through the editor cute chucks in things like:

 

 border-color: -moz-use-text-color -moz-use-text-color #999999

 

in turn breaking out template so that we have random bits of html appearing in our preview...

 

can we turn this off?

 

I think we are using version 4 of the editor....

Unfortunatly we dont have an example of the code before the newsletter is created, because these are client templates we needed to fix them and send them out as soon as possible. I can however give you an example of the email that was created if thats any help! Thanks for your speedy response with this, we may have to look at other editors if we cant get this fixed as creating these are very time consuming, obviously we want to keep the cute editor because of its integration with dnn...

Are you sure  "border-color: -moz-use-text-color -moz-use-text-color #999999" is created by Cute Editor?

 

The reason I ask this question is Cute Editor doesn't have any code to create code like "-moz-use-text-color -moz-use-text-color ".

Thaks for the reply, could it be that there used to be conflicts in the older version of Cute Editor? I'm going to give the latest version a crack and see if that fixes any issues that we have been having! I think we are on version 4, we have it installed alongside dnn, are there any issues i should be aware of before upgrading?

We have a newsletter template file (xslt) we have css defined in the top of the template and also have the inline styles set...this is so that it covers as many email systems as possible...

 

we set the RSS feeds that are to be displayed in the template then send it through after previewing it into the editor...even if i set the border style in the xslt file the editor (i think) strips it out.... I even try to set it WITHIN the editor and it still doesnt work...

 

Any ideas on why this is happening?
