    Ajax uploader progress bar doesn't work properly with Internet Explorer 8

    After selecting a file, progress bar goes straight to a 100% and the remaining time shows 1 sec. The file is a larger enough file (about 2 M), so after it happens, the screen remains the same until the actual upload isn't finished (that takes in my case for 2 M file another 5 minutes).

    This behavior could be seen even on the demo page from your WEB site:

    The IE8 version is 8.0.7600.16385, installed on a fresh copy of MS Windows 7.

    Hi Terry,

    I tried it with all three options and only the Flash uploading had shown the above problematic behavior on IE8.

    Both IFrame and SilverLight (after I've installed it) were working without any problems.

    I have Flash 10 installed. Interesting that Firefox 3 was working with Flash option OK.

     

    Is there a way to fix it for the IE8?

    Do you installed any software , like firewall etc ?
     
    Please try another new PC .
     
    I guess the reason is some software buff up the data , and so the Flash report the wrong progress!

    Hi Terry,
    I don't have any additional firewals. I tested it on a newly fresh installation of MS Windows 7 RTM.
    On the same computer, Firefox 3 works without any problems.
    I suspect that it is connected somehow to the new IE8.

    We also test the IE8 in windows7 , but can't reproduce that issue.
     
    We need test more versions and get back to you asap.
