I have an ASP page that accesses load_gecko.js.

The problem is that the page freezes.

I think it's using CuteEditor.

Do you know why it would freeze?

Instead of putting together an example, perhaps I can explain further:

When the page loads (just like the pop-up window I'm typing in now by clicking "Quick Reply"),

the page tries to access a file called load_gecko.js but the page freezes (the mouse pointer turns to an hourglass), and

the page attempts to load for several minutes but doesn't.

Could it be because there are unique characters in the content such as é ?

This is a continuation of my last post:

Could it be because there are unique characters such as é, and characters like that are invalid (don't process)

in the JS file load_gecko.js ?

No, I think it is caused by other reason.

What could the problem be?

I'm trying to load text in French. Here's part of it that gets loaded into the CuteEditor:

actually the content in question is in french and has word tags in it....is this a know issue for the editor? it freeze in firefox 3.0.7 and ie 8

Hey, i could not paste and save all the information to the page that you told me update. It told me something to effect of that it was to much information, and that the value was not saved.

I have to paste and use all the information that the user entered into the editor, because I dont know exactly where its failing, actually I do. We have MS-Word tag code inside the html and there is a block in there that is a giant comment. I removed that section out and it worked. But my question is , is there or are there characters in french that cause the editor to crash or not load, for the asp version of the editor.

Are there characters in French that cause the editor to crash or not load, For the classic asp version of the editor.This seems to be occurring on our end.
