upload image problem!!!!!!!!

Once again this is upload image to other server question.
I created UNC share username and PW for the impersonate in the web.config. and Also create a virtual directory on my web server. directory name is "imageURL".

I change

securityname="ImageGalleryPath">~/imageurl</security> in the default.config.

when I click image button, I got a bug , "could not find a part of the path "C:\Src\websites\REA.net......."

it still looking for my root path, should go to other server looking for path, not my location machine.

do you have any idea what's wrong, or point out some help?

I really need this problem to figure out!!

Please check this article:

Writing to a UNC path with the uploading tools

If you can't get this work, please check your web.config file and make sure you use impersonation in your web config.

Step 1: Create a domain account which has the write permission to your UNC share

Username: yourdomain/admin

password="admin”

To access resources on a UNC, your application must run under a domain enabled primary secuirty token, the easiest way to do this is to use impersonation in your web config:

impersonate="true"

userName="yourdomain/admin"

password="admin”

I did exactly like you said
in the web.confige

password="***"
/>
seems to me, we need use "\" not in the username use "/"
need want to make sure, are you guys test this before? it work for anyone or just not me?

YES. I have tested it before we publish this solution. We have many clients use this method without any problem.

Plase note that the article (Writing to a UNC path with the uploading tools) is our suggestion.

You can find your own solution and ignore our suggestion.
