    2GB Maximum File Size

I need to upload photos which can now be 4GB so I don't think I can use the Ajax Uploader. Other systems can do it so I am not sure why this one cannot but I have seen the post saying it is a limitation of the browser.

But say I did want to use it, I have had problems before where the ISP has set the maximum request size down at 1GB in the web.config - can I work around this ?

How do I check for the maximum file size so it does not upload (I am using the GMAIL example).

Finally - can I specidfy the default folder for the upload ?

Thanks - great apart from the 2GB limitation !

    Re: 2GB Maximum File Size

    Hi,

The 2G size limitation is for each files.

If you upload many files and total size is 4G , it will be OK.

If you force the UploadType to Silverlight , It will skip the server side configuration.

    Regards,
    Terry
