Flash upload size

I'm trying to upload a large flv file and getting an error that it is too big.

I've altered the filesize in the config but it doesn't seem to have any effect. Am I altering it in the correct place or is there an issue.

The file I want to upload is 11.32mb and I get a max file is 9.77mb error

Which security policy file are you using?

By default, Cute Editor uses the default.config file.

I'm bringing in one in code behind thus:

EditorBody.SecurityPolicyFile = "Administrator.config"

When I alter other settings in that config they have an effect, but not the flash one unless i'm altering the wrong setting.

However to double check I placed it in the default as well but get the same message.

Which settings in config should I be using to alter flash upload file size?

Update

I've figured out that if I alter the setting for:

Works for FLV
<security name="MaxDocumentSize">2048000</security>

This has an effect on the FLV file type max size. Increasing this value allows me to upload larger files, but increasing the Flash setting doesnt???

Am I setting the wrong setting or is this association incorrect?

If you upload files in the insert flash dialog, the maximum allowed size of the file is controlled by MaxFlashSize.

If you upload files in the insert document dialog, the maximum allowed size of the file is controlled by MaxDocumentSize.

That's what I assumed, but for me it doesn't work.

If I use the Flash icon 'F' (near the media and youtube icon) MaxFlashSize has no effect. It seems to be controlled my MaxDocumentSize.

I think you found a bug. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Please open

CuteSoft_Client\CuteEditor\Dialogs\InsertFlash.aspx

And change

InputFile.ValidateOption.MaxSizeKB=secset.MaxDocumentSize;

to:

InputFile.ValidateOption.MaxSizeKB=secset.MaxFlashSize;
