z-index issues with popup dialogs and ExtJS

I'm trying to integrate CuteEditor with ExtJS (http://extjs.com).

The biggest setback so far is that the popup dialogs of CuteEditor are rendered behind my ExtJS windows (which are popups themselves).

Is there a way I can control the z-index of the CuteEditor dialog windows?

dointIT,

Please open download the control again and open Constant.js file.

Then modify the following code:

//Default dialog's z-index.
editorconstant.DialogZIndex=8888;

Thanks for you help Adam.

I downloaded the new component and found the editorconstant.DialogZIndex=8888;

The dialogs still popup behind my ExtJS window though.

Any other ideas?

dointIT,

Do you know the Zindex of ExtJs window?

I remember they padded their z-index up to 20,000.

We have to set a value bigger than it.

Let us try:

editorconstant.DialogZIndex=20001;

Excellent idea.

I changed the DialogZIndex to 21000 and it worked.

Good thing you know about the Ext z-index. I was unaware of this.

I have the same problem (but not involving extJS).

Im trying to find this setting you are talking about but I cant find anything. How do I change the z-index on dialogs?

I use version 6.2

Open CuteEditor_Files\Scripts\Constant.js

and find the following code:

Yeah that's the file i've been looking at before. But if I search for DialogZIndex i dont get any hits so...
