Link not getting recognized in firefox

link not getting recoginzed in in firefox, when i type something www.yahoo.com it does not take this as link, it works fine in IE

i believe it used to work in firefox too

i am using
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1

please helpe and i knew that it will work in your example i just wanted to know what may be the issue.

this again there as such no steps to reproduce the error just if i type www.yahoo.com in firefox it does not take this as link but in IE it works fine

yes it is reproducible in any of your exmaple just open the example in

http://cutesoft.net/example/JavaScript-API.aspx

using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092417 Firefox/3.0.

just type any link like www.yahoo.com and it does nothing but it works well in IE

This is an IE only feature. Firefox doesn't support this.
