Can there be something done to improve the downloading speed when opening the editor?

 

 

 

IE6 are used by 40% of my visitors, so I have to consider this. The browsers cache setting is 'Automatic', like the most visitors have I believe.

 

I'll would like to purchase the editor, but the slow speed makes me hesitate.

 

Maybe I should add that it is both the demo on your page, and the editor in this forum, that is slow with IE6.

We tested all our online demos using IE 6. 50% of our machine are still using IE 6.0.

 

It looks like some setting of your machine may cause this issue.

 

Are you able to reproduce this issue in the following example?

 

 

No, on that asp page:

all the buttons shows after 2-3 sec (and then 80-90 objects are being downloaded in the background)

 

But on this php page:

the buttons shows after 10-15 sec, AFTER the 80-90 objects has been downloaded.

And there are the same slow performance when editing this post (and that is a asp page?) 

 

I've tested some other similiar editors (for php server), and they are loading fast (even when my cache setting is "Check for newer version every time page opens!)

There are no similiar problems with this browser on other pages. The cache setting is "Automatic".
