Domain license and subdomains

Hi, we purchased a Domain license for CuteEditor for a domain, but are having some trouble getting it to work.

We have uploaded the site to the new server and given it a name of new.<domainname>.com for testing purposes and so the client can check over the site before it replaces the old site. However, after applying the license for <domainname>.com to the site, it still gives us a license error in the Editor control.
How does this work? Do we have to get a separate license for <domainname>.com and new.<domainname>.com? How about .com">www.<domainname>.com?

Aha - that could very well be it - I'll have a look at the codebehind and report back.

No luck - I reincluded the CuteEditor files into the project and told it not to create codebehind files, but I'm still getting the license error.

Not sure how to proceed from here.

Colin,

I undersand the problem now.

If you ask us create a domain license file for the domain: ABC.com

It will work for the following site:

http://ABC.com

https://ABC.com

https://www.ABC.com

But it will not work for the subsite.ABC.com

Ahh, understood. I was under the impression that the license would allow us to use subdomains such as this.

Can you create a temporary license file for new.williamsmachinery.com and send it to us? We will be going live with this site within the next 24-48 hours.
