I have edited the security policy file to allow docx and xlsx files to be uploaded via the cutesoft editor by adding their extensions to the security policy file (default.config). It all works well and good until a user tries to download the file afterwards.
When clicking on the link on the editor, the save file dialog pops up. Clicking on open opens it like a zip file. Clicking on save will pre-select .zip as the extension, with "all files" the only other alternative. When I select "all files" and then change the .zip extension to .docx or .xlsx then save the file then the file works - this would imply that the file does appear to be uploaded/downloaded properly. The problem is that it doesnt seem to be recognized by the editor (is it the editor that is in charge of the file dialog box)? At first I thought this was due to the fact that the machine I used to test didnt have office 2007 installed. However, testing on other machines that did have it installed proved it to not be the case.
Some computers have the file save dialog option "skipped - i.e. do this for all files of this type checkbox checked" meaning that clicking on this link would just automatically open the file, resulting in winzip "openning" the file instead of word 2007.
Is it because the cutesoft editor does not recognize these file types?
Thanks
